With effect from 01.07.2010, the draft and SBI Express remittances for individual customers are as follows:
- Demand Draft: £20.00
- SBI Express: £5.00*
*Individual account holders of SBI, UK who maintain the minimum balance required in accordance with the terms and conditions of the account are eligible to transfer funds free of charge.
- CHAPS Payments £25.00/ €40.00
- International payments including currency transfers in the UK £25.00/ €40.00/ US $50.00
- Amendment to payment instructions £10.00/ €15.00/ US$ 20.00
- Issue of Banker’s Cheque in Foreign currency £25.00/ €40.00/ US$ 50.00
- Duplicate/Stop payment/cancellation £10.00/ €15.00/ US$20.00
Cash handling charge: If you are remitting by cash, you have to pay a cash handling charge at £3.00 per £1000 or part thereof with a minimum of £3.00. This will be in addition to the charges detailed above and below.
Postage for Sending demand drafts:
- to UK address: Nil
- to Indian address: £ 7.00
