Charges

With effect from 23.12.2013, the draft and SBI Express remittances for individual customers are as follows:
  • Demand Draft:     £20.00
  • SBI Express:        £5.00* for SBI UK customers and £20 for non-SBI UK customers
*Individual account holders of SBI, UK who maintain the minimum balance required in accordance with the terms and conditions of the account are eligible to transfer funds free of charge.

Other Charges

  1. CHAPS Payments £25.00/ €40.00
  2. International payments including currency transfers in the UK £25.00/ €40.00/ US $50.00
    1. Amendment to payment instructions £10.00/ €15.00/ US$ 20.00
  3. Issue of Banker's Cheque in Foreign currency £25.00/ €40.00/ US$ 50.00
    1. Duplicate/Stop payment/cancellation £10.00/ €15.00/ US$20.00
Cash handling charge: If you are remitting by cash, you have to pay a cash handling charge at £3.00 per £1000 or part thereof with a minimum of £3.00 (if the transaction amount is greater than the original available balance)

Remittance to Sri Lanka

Following additional charges will be applied for making remittances to Sri Lanka:

Remittance to Bangladesh

Following additional charges will be applied for making remittances to Bangladesh:

Remittances to Nepal

Following additional charges* will be applied for making remittances to Nepal:
  • 0.05% of the amount
  • minimum NPR 200 (For non-customers minimum NPR 500)
  • maximum of NPR 5000
